Disney has announced the first UK Disney+ Star Original series, “Wedding Season” will be released globally on Disney+ Day on September 8th 2022, with the series released on Star+ in Latin America and on Hulu in the United States.  The series consists of 8 episodes and will be released on the same day.

The series, cast by Catherine Willis, features APT's very own Amy Drake!

We are delighted to finally announce the fantastic Natalie Blair is starring in brand new Netflix Drama Red Rose airing on Netflix later this year!

The BBC has announced the cast for Red Rose, the eight-part horror from Eleven which includes rising stars Amelia Clarkson and Isis Hainsworth, alongside join Adam Nagaitis, Natalie Gavin and Samuel Anderson.

Created by the Clarkson Twins, Michael and Paul, the series will be filmed in Bolton and will Red Rose will air on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Netflix world-wide.

Newcomers Amelia Clarkson (The Last Kingdom, Poldark), Isis Hainsworth (Metal Lords, Catherine Called Birdy), Ali Khan (Halo, The School For Good and Evil) Ellis Howard (Home, Catherine The Great) and Ashna Rabheru (Sex Education, Indian Summers) plus celebrated actors Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl, The Terror), Natalie Gavin (Ali & Ava, Gentleman Jack) and Samuel Anderson (Landscapers, Doctor Who).

Newcomers making their television debuts are Harry Redding, currently playing Jem Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird in the West End, and Laurence Olivier Bursary-winner, Natalie Blair.

Hollyoaks will explore a new harrowing and impactful issue-led storyline, it has been revealed, as actor Olly Rhodes joins the show.

Olly, who appeared in Netflix’s The Last Kingdom, will play newcomer Joseph, the dangerous boyfriend of Vicky, Scott Drinkwell’s foster daughter.

CLASSIC! is a 60 minute romp through tons of classic novels – that you’ve never had the time to read – a silent movie, a pantomime, a melodrama, an American film noir and featuring comic songs – this hat-swapping, lightning speed show is fun for everyone. 

CLASSIC is classic novels on stage; a tonic for those who feel classic literature is… just a bit much. Amy Drake takes to the stage in all her multi-rolling glory. We can't wait to see it!

When actress Maxine Peake was given cyclist Beryl Burton’s autobiography as a gift she questioned why no one had ever written a play about Britain’s unsung sporting legend, and so she wrote it herself. The result is an inspirational tour de force fuelled by rhubarb, northern charm and fierce determination.
