The lovely Allison Saxton will feature in Channel 4’s new drama series A Woman of Substance, playing ‘Mrs. Easton’ in Episode 6!

To celebrate World Book Day, we’re very excited to announce that the wonderful Scarlett Archer has joined the Ravenclaw house in HBO’s Harry Potter Series, as ‘Penelope Clearwater’!

The wonderful Sara Abanur joins Sisters 360 as ‘Fatima’.

Sisters 360 will be touring 26 venues across the country from 19th March to 28th June.

We’re thrilled to announce that Tareq Al-Jeddal‘s feature debut, ANIMOL, will be heading to Berlin International Film Festival this year! Tareq stars as ‘Omar’ in Ashley Walter’s new feature. 

The festival will be taking place from the 12th to 22nd February 2026 in Berlin, Germany. 

ANIMOL is a raw, affecting coming-of-age drama set within a young offenders’ institution. Produced by Joi Productions, in association with Rogue State and SLNda, for Film4, Sky Cinema and the BFI.

We’re heading back to school as the second series of the sitcom High Hoops has been released, starring Arthur Kay as lead ‘Conor O’Neil’, and also featuring Julian Kay later in the series. 

All episodes are now available to watch on BBC iPlayer, or catch a weekly release of each episode on CBBC. 

The CBBC sitcom follows tall and clumsy Aoife O’Neill, who joins a struggling school basketball team after moving to a new area. Through 3×3 basketball, she finds her place while trying to help transform the team’s fortunes.

We’re excited to announce that Charlie De’Ath will be starring as ‘Pete’ in the drama series Play For Today’s upcoming episode Special Measures. This will be showing on Channel 5 at Thursday 11th December, 9pm. 

The episode follows when a surprise OFSTED inspection hits an underfunded Liverpool school, newly promoted Laura Abbott must navigate staff burnout, student crises, and personal heartbreak – all in one chaotic day that pushes her to the brink and back.

Sophie Ellicott and Charlie Ryan will be performing in Hansel & Gretel at the Oldham Library Theatre this Christmas, running from 6 December 2025 through holiday season. Sophie and Charlie will bring their energy and experience, ensuring the familiar fairy-tale is re-imagined with fresh charm and warmth.

Presented by Oldham Theatre Workshop in their intimate library theatre space, the production promises inventive storytelling, song, laughter and festive fun for the whole family. With Sophie and Charlie headlining the cast, audiences can expect a vibrant, engaging version of this Grimm classic — a perfect seasonal outing in Oldham.

Peter Slater is currently in rehearsals for Believe! The Polar Express Experience in Manchester, where he takes on the role of the ‘Hobo’. The immersive family experience runs from 14 November 2025 to 31 December 2025, hosted at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Trafford Park. 

This multi-room walkthrough brings the magic of the beloved Christmas film to life—guests journey from the Hero Boy’s bedroom to carriages, icy landscapes and ultimately the North Pole, meeting characters like the Conductor, Hero Girl, Santa and the Hobo along the way. With Peter stepping into this memorable character, it promises to be a festive highlight for families this winter.
