The excellent Charlie Ryan will be appearing as ‘Ryan’ in We Have Been Here For… at the Edinburgh Fringe!
We Have Been Here For… is heading to the Shedinburgh at Assembly Checkpoint on 21st August as part of their Originals Programme in collaboration with The Lowry.
A new piece of writing by Ella Langley and directed by Georgia Murphy.

Jamie Smelt joins the cast of ‘Iron’
Jamie Smelt will be appearing as Prison Guard ‘George’ in award winning play Iron.
Iron heads to HOME Manchester 15th – 19th September, Hull Truck 23rd – 24th September and The Dukes Lancaster 30th September – 3rd October.

Neve McDonnell joins the cast of the new BBC adaptation ‘Open Water’
We are thrilled to announce that Neve McDonnell will be starring in the new BBC eight-part series adaptation of Caleb Azumah Nelson’s debut novel Open Water!
Neve is currently filming in Birmingham and London. The series is produced by Banjay Entertainment, Mam Tor Productions and B-Side Productions for BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
Tender, intimate and deeply romantic, Open Water is a heartfelt exploration of love, identity and belonging, told in warmth, honesty and emotional depth.

Olly Rhodes will make his Shakespeare debut as Romeo in ‘Romeo and Juliet’
Olly Rhodes will be appearing as ‘Romeo’ in a new staging of Romeo and Juliet making this his first Shakespeare debut.
Romeo and Juliet opens at The Grange Theatre 24th September and runs until 10th October.
Directed by Thomas Frith and cast by Olivia Barr and Gabriella Shimeld-Fenn.

George Webster receives his Honorary Doctorate at Leeds Beckett University!
We are so unbelievably proud of our incredible George Webster who received his Honorary Doctorate at Leeds Beckett University yesterday in recognition of his outstanding contributions to representation and the arts.
George is nothing short of an inspiration. From being the first presenter with Down Syndrome on CBeebies, winning the BAFTA for Best Presenter, writing and having 4 books published, being an ambassador for Mencap and always championing those with learning disabilities to have their voices heard and reshaping how society understands disability (the list goes on!) we are undeniably in admiration of his achievements – and he’s only 25!
APT are beyond honoured to work with George and continue to be inspired by all he does.

Maya Dhokia joins the cast of ‘East is East’
Very happy to announce Maya Dhokia will be appearing as ‘Meenah’ in the 30th anniversary production of East is East!
East is East is heading to stages across the UK starting at the Bolton Octagon Theatre 4th September – 3rd October then going to Derby Theatre 20th – 24th October followed by Citizens Theatre Glasgow 7th – 17th October and ending at Salisbury Playhouse 3rd – 14th November.

Richard Hand cast in ‘The Librarians: The Next Chapter’ S2
We’re very excited to announce that Richard Hand will feature as the lovely role ‘Professor Hughes’ in the returning TNT series The Librarians: The Next Chapter.
Don’t miss the second series premiering Sunday 2nd August, on TNT.
The series follows a time traveling librarian from the past that unfortunately finds himself trapped in the present. Now he will be given a team of new librarians to clean up the mess he made, releasing magic across the continent.

Colin Connor stars in brilliant Irish feature ‘Our House’
The brilliant Colin Connor will be starring as ‘Jim’ in Peter Young’s Irish feature film Our House, produced by Northern Ireland Screen, BFI and Village Films.
The feature has been selected to open this year’s Galway Film Festival (Fleadh) on Tuesday 7th July! This a wonderful achievement for all cast and crew in this production, as it marks a major milestone for Northern Ireland Screen’s New Talent Focus scheme as the first New Talent Focus film to open the festival!
Our House follows a recovering addict who arrives late for his mother’s wake, causing tensions to arise within the family.

Thrilled to announce Ava Honey will be making her professional debut as ‘Juliet’ in Romeo and Juliet and as ‘Crabby’ in The Little Mermaid at the Greenwich Theatre, London.
Romeo and Juliet runs from 3rd to 25th July and The Little Mermaid runs from 31st July to 23rd August.

We’re very excited for the much-anticipated Russell T Davies, 4-part series Tip Toe, which features the brilliant Andy Moss and Colin Connor!
