A major new television drama is set to be broadcast on Channel 5 this autumn, based on the Hardacre family saga books by CL Skelton. Starring Shannon Lavelle and Adam Little as the Hardacres and also featuring our very own Conor Deane. 

We’re delighted to announce that Caroline Chesworth and Olivia Paige Marsh will be joining the cast of All Creatures Great & Small in its fifth series. The series will begin on Channel 5 and My5 on Thursday 19th September at 9pm.

ITV’s medical thriller series Malpractice is moving into a second series as the Medical Investigation Unit take on another case. The five-part series two of Malpractice comes from creator and writer Grace Ofori-Attah, with Hannah K. Richards penning episode 3. We are pleased to announce that Amy Drake will be joining the cast. The series is set to be released sometime in 2025.

Mystery sleuths and crime fans alike, mark your calendars for Ridley Series 2. It will be premiering on PBS on Sunday 15th September, with the UK release date being announced soon. Tareq Al-Jeddal will be returning as regular Jack Farman, and will be accompanied across the series by Steve Cooper, Megan Trower, and Isabelle Smith.

BBC’s Waterloo Road confirms January return and releases new pictures The new series will continue to explore real-life topics affecting teens, families and school staff today, all with Waterloo Road’s trademark mix of sharp writing, warmth and wit. Zak Sutcliffe returns as Schuey and this series see’s Olly Rhodes introduced as Billy Savage – Jason Manfords son!

Pet Shop Boys have unveiled their latest single, ‘Feel’, alongside its accompanying video. Directed by British artist Corbin Shaw and collaborator Rawtape, the visual follows UK actors Sam Bottomley and Tareq Al-Jeddal on a road trip to the seaside.

Sherwood series two launches at 9pm on Sunday 25 August on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. The series is written by James Graham, with episodes 4, 5 and 6 directed by Tom George. This time starring our very own Bethany Asher & Conor Deane! The second instalment follows two families who have found themselves entangled with the Sparrows in a world where old rivalries and long-held revenge missions are the norm.

George Webster, 21 from Rawdon, won his first major career award at the BAFTA Children & Young People Awards having only started working on Cbeebies last September.

George said: “I feel really honoured and privileged to get this BAFTA. I am really proud too.

“I couldn’t have done it without the support of all my CBeebies family and want to thank them all and everyone who has ever supported me. I’m over the moon and ecstatic!”
